In volume II Tables relating to the journey in lower and upper Egypt following the traces and to the drawings of Mr. Denon" 6 plates named with letters (a-g), followed by 144 engraved plates, some sporadic foxing and several burnished plates. Contemporary bindings in brown half leather with friezes impressed in gold and red morocco insert with title and author on the spine, abrasions and small defects on the spine.
First and only Italian edition of this famous work dedicated to the Egypt of the pharaohs, whose first French edition dates back to 1802. The Italian edition was edited by Abbot Francesco Fontani, librarian of the Riccardiana Library in Florence and famous author.
