In 4th. engraving depicting a bird on the frontispiece with a twig in its mouth, inhabited drop caps. marginal foxing, splendid contemporary sow leather binding with dry impressions, the date 1540 can be read on the upper plate, a metal clasp preserved, worn. Various ownership notes on the pastedown, on the flyleaf and on the title page, from different periods.
