Tear along the fold, small tears at the edges. The signed map appears for the first time in the "Theatrum Italiae in Eius Regna Dominia..." published by Hendrick Hondius in 1636 and containing many maps by Jodocus Hondius and Jan Janssonius. The work presents 39 new maps of Italy, including this one of the lake area. Subsequently the map was inserted into the atlases of Hondius and Janssonius. Edition with the Latin text. First state.
