Specialist Notes

Nice set of seventeenth-century historical reports. Galeazzo Gualdo Priorato (Vicenza, July 23, 1606 - 1678) was an Italian historian and writer. Man of arms and historian, he had a very active life which led him to give his services as a soldier under various flags. In fact, he fought under the commands of Maurice of Nassau and Wallenstein.
