Monumental work in two volumes of Justinian's Corpus Iuris Civilis in a particularly accurate sixteenth-century Lyon edition; the first volume contains the old Digest, while the second contains the Institutions, the Novellas, the last three books (10-12) of the Codex and the Liber feudorum. The Digest presents itself with the commentary of the well-known glossator and jurist Accursio, famous precisely for his Magna glossa relating to the entire text of the Corpus Iuris Civilis. This is a valuable edition, particularly cared for already from the structure with wide margins of the writing mirror, the entire text is presented in red and black and is accompanied by numerous and detailed historiated initials and vignettes, entirely engraved in wood.
