Venice, 1796. In 2nd. Completely engraved specimen with the exception of a plate with the index, 35 chalcographic double plates mounted on onglets, gold coins colored in yellow, rare foxings and some light stains, coeval binding in the middle in half leather, lacks on the back.
First edition of this beautiful numismatic work. The coins of the main mints of Europe, Asia and Africa are represented and described. Each table card presents on the recto of the first card the classification and correspondence of the coins, then follows on the reverse of the first card and on the recto of the second the graphic representation of the coins and the correspondences of the weights based on the different mints.
