Splendid copper frontispiece with allegorical figures engraved by Antonio Novelli based on drawings by Jacopo Leonardi, frontispiece in two colors with copper vignette, friezes and engraved finials portrait of A. engraved in copper drawn by A. Caracci and engraved from Novelli, 20 splendid plates f.t. finely engraved in copper by Leonardis on drawings by P. Novelli, one for each canto, a further 95 large copper engravings n.t., even half-page, depicting scenes from the opera and topics, animated drop caps at the beginning of each canto and title within elegant frieze, marginal browning and humidity halos, coeval binding in full bazzana, spine with five raised bands with compartments decorated with gilded friezes and title on red label, red sprayed cuts, peeling and small faults on the spine.
