Venice, heirs of Melchiorre Sessa, 1570. In 8°. Brand of the cat with a mouse in its mouth within an illustrated frame, head and drop caps illustrated in vignettes, with full-page woodcuts in the text depicting the "Necklace of the Gartiera - Necklace of Savoy - Necklace of Tosone - Necklace of San Michele", woodcut portrait in fine volume by Sansovino, marginal marks of humidity, coeval limp parchment binding with traces of bindings, tears and missing parts. Handwritten note of ownership on the title page by Ferrante del Monte.

Again reprinted with a new junta". Detailed survey of the history, ceremonies and statutes of the Orders of chivalry, to which is added the description of the islands of Malta and Elba.
