Ottavio Rossi (Brescia, 26 July 1570 - Brescia , September 28, 1630) was an Italian archaeologist, poet and scholar. "He collected interesting news in the Elogi historici di Bresciani illustri (1620); as a rhymer he was among the most artful. He died during the plague epidemic described by Manzoni."
