First edition. By many considered the most influential photographer of the century. XX, so much so that he has earned the nickname "eye of the century", Henry Cartier-Bresson (Chanteloup, 1908 - Montjustin, 2004) was a pioneer of photojournalism, author of documentary photojournalism services from all over the world. "Photography can capture eternity in an instant" he stated and only by placing "the heart, the mind and the eye on the same line of sight" can those decisive instants be captured, which he theorized those images taken secretly, in sudden that they are the true essence of his photos. Through a gaze trained by painting (he had also been a painter and assistant to J. Renoir) using his -Leica- as an expressive tool, he elevated photography to the level of a true art form.
