"The Tsar is not dead" is a surprising book, a uchronic novel of political fiction of the present, written in 1929 in collaboration by the "Group of Ten", i.e. by ten authors of Futurism and the avant-garde among the most famous of the time : Antonio Beltramelli, Massimo Bontempelli, Lucio D'Ambra, Alessandro De Stefani, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, Fausto Maria Martini, Guido Milanesi, Alessandro Varaldo, Cesare Viola, Luciano Zuccoli. The novel is based on the idea that in 1931, in China, a man who looks exactly like Tsar Nicholas II suddenly appears. Finally, the "Regulations of the competition for the Romanzo dei Dieci" which consisted in guessing the respective author of the 10 indicated chapters, including the card.
