Information
Paper account register of 70 papers laid by various hands, many white sheets, 206 x 153 mm., datable between 1582 and 1611. It refers to the Brunello family of Mompiano (Brescia) and to various protagonists, including Pompeo, Scipione etc. The first accounting series stops at 1588 and then resumes on paper 10 r. with the year 1602 and end with 1614.

Interesting book of accounts that punctually records income and expenses of the Brunello family, active in the town of Mompiano where they will build "many buildings" as can be read from the Latin inscription placed above the fireplace in the hall of the family palace, shown here on c.1r . A manuscript of Brescian economics of the ancient regime, all to be studied.
