Naples, 1856. In 4th oblong. 13 tables containing 21 lithographs by F. Wenzel, illuminated with white lead, based on drawings by V. Paliotti. Slight traces of damp on the lower edge, coeval cloth binding, gold frames and friezes and embossed on the plates.
On 7 August 1856, on the feast day of the Saint and to commemorate the end of the terrible scourge that devastated Naples in 1656, solemn celebrations were held in the Church of S. Paolo Maggiore which was decorated with paintings and decorations which, by order of the king, were reproduced in lithograph by Wenzel, in memory of the ceremony.
