Padua Giuseppe Comino, 1719. In 4°. Portrait engraved in copper on the frontispiece (shorter), vignette on the title page, only one plate, typographical brand at the end, some blushing, contemporary calf binding with inserts of different leathers on the plates, in the center of the large field coat of arms embossed in unidentified gold, back remounted in brown calfskin with 5 ribs, golden cuts, defects and shortcomings.
Specialist Notes
Second edition (the first is from 1659), edited by the author's nephew and considerably enlarged, of this work by Orsato. The volume is illustrated by a portrait of the author on the title page engraved on copper by F.M. France and in the text there are also many woodcuts depicting ancient coins.
