Second edition, which contains interviews with  Lyon from 1963 to 1967, when he was a member of "The Chicago Outlaw Motorcycle". The essential component of Danny Lyon's photography, in line with the style of photographic New Journalism is without doubt the personal participation in the life of his subjects who often deviate from social norms. Prestigious and  prolific American documentary photographer, born in Brooklyn in 1942, Lyon received his BA in history in 1963 from the University of Chicago, where he worked as a photographer for the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). A member of the Chicago Outlaw Motorcycle club, he traveled with bikers sharing their lifestyles in order to gain first-hand knowledge of the personal stories and experiences of the subjects he photographed. The success of The Bikeriders led Danny Lyon to join Magnum Agency, where he worked primarily as a director and photographer.
