Specialist Notes
Beautiful edition, limited edition, printed on large paper. The Zanardelli penal code, named after the Minister of Justice who promoted its adoption, issued by royal decree on 30 June 1889, it was in force from 1890 to 1930. With this code, capital punishment was then abolished throughout Italy, while most European countries still resorted to it.
