Title of the pamphlet Bagni di Pisa, title page printed in red and black, two medals depicting the dedicatee, Cesare Francesco, and the city of Pisa on the title page, vignette and intaglio initial on fol. A1r, with 7 pages of plates designed by Michele Piazzini and Giuseppe Ruggieri and engraved by Niccolò Mogalli, some slightly loose issues, rare and slight marginal foxing, coeval hardcover binding, handwritten author and title on the spine, minor defects.

Important work divided into six chapters: climatic and geographical position of the Baths, natural qualities and medicinal faculties of its waters, rules to be observed when using them, and with ample historical information on these famous ancient Pisan baths. "Original edition" of this appreciated work by the Tuscan doctor Antonio Cocchi (1695-1758), prof. at the Universities of Florence and Pisa.
