Architectural title page, numerous woodcuts in the text, various restorations, missing A1 paper and supplied by a manuscript reply, omissions at 2E1, M1. N2, S2 supplied with handwritten paper, tear in the outer white margin of O1, missing *⁶ and 2P-2S⁴ [Greek cross]⁶, scattered foxing, light browning, coeval parchment binding, blue edges, title embossed in gold on the back, small lack on the cap, slight defects.

Composite treatise on numismatics and Latin epigraphy in the form of dialogues between the author and the interlocutor, referring to topics including: the differences between coins and medals, inscriptions, forgeries, epigraphs, etc. The first edition of the Italian translation of this work, edited by Dionigi Ottaviano Sada, was published in Tarragona in 1587.
