With a large folded portrait of the author, woodcut frieze on the title page, light browning, slightly more intense on some files, light blooms and scattered redness, coeval binding in marbled calfskin, title and tome imprinted in gold on the back with 5 nerves with friezes, red cuts, some small lacks on the backs, slight defects. Paper ex libris for counterplates.

Original edition of all volumes, edited by his nephew Balthasar Burle de Curban (Siteron, 1701 - Paris, 1774), signatory of all the dedications. & Nbsp; Imposing treatise on "political science" on which by Gaspard de Réal (1682-1752) , jurist and adviser to the king, he worked for over three decades. The author's intent was to find a point of connection between the ideas of the Enlightenment, the Church and the absolute monarchy. Among the numerous analyzes and reflections Curban hypothesizes an uncertain future for Poland, victim of the "Muscovy" and prefigures the unification of Italy. & Nbsp;
