Specialist Notes
Very rare first edition of this artist's book composed by Soffici in folio format with the aim of launching the "newspaper-book", which can be bought, read, folded under the arm and thrown away in the evening. Collection of poems (Simultaneity) and free words (Lyrical chemisms), among which some of the best known of Futurist history. The work had a limited edition of 300 copies, ours is number 196, most of which were destroyed with the Florence flood in 1966 as the bulk still lay unsold since 1915 in the publisher's warehouses.
