Group of 12 copper engravings in 6 plates, 31 x 21 cm, each with caption, slight halo of humidity in the upper inner corner, slight marginal burnishing, some slight flowering, bound in decorated paper. § Dupuis, & nbsp; Charles-François , & nbsp; Planches de l'Origine de tous les cultes, avec leur explication , Paris, Agasse, an III de la Republique [1794 ]. In 4th. Small eye, front door engraved, with 21 numbered plates, light browning, some small stains, first paper partially detached, without binding. & Nbsp;

I work: Interesting group of engravings depicting rituals and customs of the Incas. & nbsp; Son of art, since his adolescence Bernard Picart (Paris 1673-Amsterdam1733) confirmed a remarkable talent and excellent skills as a draftsman to become one among the most prestigious engravers and illuminators of his time


The set is sold as a collection of plates. Lot not eligible for return.
