Numerous small perspective and optical engravings applied to the counterplates, eight words censored in pen on page XXXIX.

First edition of this study on the life of Amerigo Vespucci by the Abbot Bandini (Florence, 1726 - Fiesole, 1803). Of crucial importance for subsequent studies on the explorer, in the work the author traces the life of Vespucci, the reports of the four journeys, finally reports the letters sent to Lorenzo di Pierfrancesco de Medici, including & nbsp; the account of Vasco de Gama's journey.
