Fra i collaboratori vi furono gli architetti Libera, Moretti, Muratori, La Padula, Samonà, Michelucci, Figini e Pollini, Quaroni, Muzio e del Debbio. Il libro illustra il progetto dell'Esposizione Universale di Roma prevista per il 1942 (la famosa "E 42") che non fu realizzata a causa della guerra. Alcune macchie sulla copertina.
