Specialist Notes
Reprint of the important edition of 1564, edited by Francesco Sansovino, to which the printer Giovan Antonio Rampazetto has placed a new dedication to Guglielmo Gonzaga, Duke of Mantua and Monferrato. The edition, accompanied by the famous portrait of Naso on the title, carries the fortunate comment by Vellutello.
