Jackson in 1738 and whose cartouche bears the motto: Ex intimo sui surgit, frontispiece in red and black ink with woodcut vignette, initials, friezes and illustrations engraved in wood, coeval parchment binding with author and title within red Moroccan patch on the back 5-nerve, spray cuts. Paper ex libris on the counterplate, stamp of belonging to the title page.
