Eye, frontispiece with woodcut mark, friezes and initials engraved in wood, slight blooms and rare reddening, slight halo at the upper margin, coeval parchment binding, author, title and number of manuscript volumes on the smooth spine with paper insert, marbled cuts, some slight halo. § Together in the lot Rossello, Timotheo. De 'secreti vniuersali [...], si per huomini, & amp; women of high ingenuity, as well as for doctors, & amp; all sorts of industrious craftsmen, & amp; take a seat to every virtuous person , Venice, Barezzi, 1644. In 8 °. 2 parts in 1 vol. Woodblock mark on the title page, several woodworm holes, some burnished papers, water millstone on the last papers, coeval parchment binding, slight defects. Specialist Notes

Niccolò Cirillo (1671-1735) & nbsp; he practiced as a doctor in the hospital of the Incurables in Naples. He soon became prominent, achieving professional successes that earned him the coveted chair of practical medicine. He had important contacts with authoritative Neapolitan intellectuals and contributed to the diffusion both in teaching and in the practice of experimentalism. The collection of Medical consultations was published posthumously, it is his most important work: rich collection of medical opinions and evaluations on various clinical cases referring to various localities based on the description of symptoms in epistolary form
