Exemplary in beards, with 68 full-page color plates signed by the artist protected by tissue paper including the portrait of Bankst by Modigliani and numerous illustrations in the text, some slightly loose papers, a detached booklet (pp. 12-16), rare blooms, few papers with very slight bluing, editorial paperback, small tear on the spine, slight defect in the internal hinge, cardboard box with title printed on paper insert, light halos and traces of use.

First edition. Copy n. 27 of a limited edition of 345 numbered copies of this important collection on the work of & nbsp; Léon Bakst (1866-1924), a multifaceted artist of Russian origin: he was a painter, set designer, costume designer, as well as graphic and illustrator.
