Frontispiece printed in red and black characters, initials decorated in red and black by Louis Benoît, with the 28 original etchings in double suite by Joseph Titz, sporadic blooms, illustrated editorial cover preserved in elegant binding SIGNED "Iseux", the successor of & nbsp; Thierry-Simier, & nbsp; in blue Moroccan with marbled paper inserts on the plates, back with 5 nerves with titles and floral decorations in gold, golden upper cut.

First illustrated edition of this famous work by Georges Rodenbach (1855-1898). Refined artist's book, one & nbsp; of the 200 numbered copies printed on & nbsp; vélin du Marais with & nbsp; the etchings in two states, copy no. 178.
