(ca. 1932), 39.6x29.5 cm., collage and original color gouache, signed with monogram, advertising the cigarettes "Milde Sorte - Austria - Zigarettenfabrik München". & nbsp;
Neidenberger is one of the students enrolled at the Bauhaus within the period 1919-1933 (see Wingler 1975: p. 555), he was also a collaborator of the architect Hubert Hoffmann. The collage is accompanied by a sheet of cardboard which was the original support of the collage. On it is transcribed the title "Plakat für Zigarettenfabrik Austria" with the author's name stamped on one end. On the back is the original stamp of the architect Hubert Hoffmann (Berlin 1904 - Graz 1999), also a pupil at the Bauhaus and later very active organizer and collaborator of various exhibitions starting with the famous "22 berliner bauhäusler stellen aus" (1950). The collage is part of the works that Hoffmann had collected and preserved for the various exhibitions on the Bauhaus. [Bibliography: Provenance: Arch. Hubert Hoffmann - Graz].
