Venice, Comino da Trino di Monferrato, 1546. In the 8th. Portrait of the author on the title page, family trees in the text, halos of humidity and marginal browning, binding in half parchment and modern cardboard.

Specialist Notes

Gabriello Simeóni was a polygraph, born in Florence in 1509 and perhaps died in Turin after 1572. He was at the court of Francesco I (1528) and Cosimo de 'Medici (1538). He went to France on several occasions and introduced antiquarian scholarship. From 1560 he lived in Turin. & Nbsp;
