First and only edition of this work, the first scientific study in the historiography of the troubled events of the Milan cathedral. The interesting illustrations depict plans, sections, elevations, cross-sections, perspective views, as well as details of the internal and external ornamentation of the cathedral and are the work of the well-known engravers Francesco and Gaetano Durelli and Giuseppe Bramati.
