Specialist Notes
The 29 plates are taken from the work & nbsp; Declaracion de la Habana: 40 xilografìas & nbsp; ilography & nbsp; cubanas. The artists in solidarity with the revolution who lent their work were: & nbsp; Carmelo Gonzales Igelsias, Lesbia Vent Dumois; Carlos M. Diaz Gamez, Ana Rosa Guttierrez Martinez, Umberto Pena Garriga, Luis Penalver Collazo, Armando Posse Valuerdis, Osvaldo Cabrera Del Valle, Alfredo Sosa Bravo, Cesar Mazola Alvarez, Juan Sanchez Sanchez, Atilano Armenteros. & Nbsp; The woodcuts illustrate the "Declaracion de la Habana" manifesto and declaration of the principles and intentions of the General Assembly of the People of Cuba and of the Castro communist regime.
