Specialist Notes
First edition of the most important work of the famous Milanese dialect writer Domenico Balestrieri (1714-80). Absorbed above all by his love for poetry, especially for the dialect, he was, together with Count Imbonati and his friend Tanzi, one of the first and most zealous restorers of the Accademia dei Trasformati.
