Florence, near Giunti, 1556. In 8 °. Typographic mark on the title page, inhabited drop caps, blooms, browning, some slight woodworm holes, reinforcement at the outer edge of the last paper, 18th century binding in brown calfskin, spray cuts. Contropiatto ex libris by M. Fumanelli, Veronese bookseller of the 18th-19th century.

Specialist Notes

Rare edition edited by Filippo Giunta, whose name appears in the preface. It precedes the text "The life of Vergilio, for m. Thomaso Porcachi". The Georgica is translated by B. Daniello, the Bucolics by A. Lori, the Aeneid (book I) by A. Sansedoni.
