Venice, Giovanni Alberti, 1598. In 4th. Brand engraved in wood on the title page and at the end, xylographic initials, some small stains, some slight water gore in the last issues, gap at the margins of E7 and O8, restoration of the external white margin of 2D4, coeval parchment binding, author and title partially faded manuscripts on the spine, defects. § Together in the lot Estienne, Charles, De Latinis et Graecis nominibus arborum, fruticum, herbarum, piscium, & amp; avium liber: ex Aristotle, Theophrastus, Dioscorides , Paris, Rob. Stephanus typographus regius, 1547. In 8º. Typographic mark on the title page, first paper partially detached, light bluing, last paper detached, coeval parchment binding, some stains on the plates, woodworm holes on the spine. Handwritten notations on the guard card and title page.
