Rome, from the torchj of Lino Contedini, 1823. In 4 ° oblong. Text arranged on 2 columns, with 52 etched plates signed and dated in the plate, each accompanied by a caption, some scattered reddening, binding of the time in the middle of green calfskin, in the center of the plates covered with marbled paper a plaque in leather with the title of the work embossed in gold, peeling and some stains.

Specialist Notes

Second edition, but first complete of all the tables, of the heroic-comic poem in Roman dialect by Giuseppe Berneri (1637-1701) written in 1683 for the liberation of Vienna from the siege of the Turks, and published for the first time in 1695. The etchings by Bartolomeo Pinelli (1787-1835), famous Roman draftsman and engraver, portray lively popular scenes.
