Specialist Notes
This is the first Italian literary journal, founded by the abbot and philosopher Francesco Nazari, as well as reviewer & nbsp; at the Collegio De Propaganda Fide. Inspired by the "Journal des Sçavants" (Paris, 1665), he often drew from this to offer readers articles and reviews on the most up-to-date European publications on science and literature, and contributed to spreading the scientific and philosophical culture beyond the Alps in Italy.
