Collection of 42 finely engraved copper plates, c.ca 225 x 295, numbered 1- 12, 21-26, 33-50, 63-66, 68 and 69, signed in the lower left plate "Wm Hogarth Inv. Pinx ", and on the right the signature of several engravers, blooms spread at the margins, and browning, some stains, brown half leather binding of the time, the front plate has a large red Moroccan gusset with the inscription in gold "Hogarthischen kupferstiche zu lichtenberg's erklärungen", worn.
