Paris, P. Rocolet, 1631. In 4th. Typographic mark on the title page, back binding in shagreen, author and title and author stamped in gold on the spine, polychrome marbled cuts. To the counterplate ex libris Guelfo - Sitta.

Specialist Notes

The collection is divided into 2 parts, the first containing the letters written by the cardinal to various correspondents (Cardinals Borghese, Borgia, d'Este, Gonzaga, Infante of Spain, Spinola Legate of Ferrara, etc.); the second contains for the most part the letters sent to the Duke of Monteleone in Spain.
