Seconda edizione esemplata sull'originale edita a Siena nel 1525 e dedicata da Jacopo Giunti a Giovanvittorio Soderini. Questa breve tragedia consta di cinque atti, in endecasillabi sciolti, la prima, cronologicamente, delle tragedie moderne classicheggianti. Il Rucellai (1475 - 1525) fu letterato, figlio di Bernardo, che istituì i celebri Orti Oricellari, e di Nannina de' Medici, sorella di Lorenzo il Magnifico. . Gamba 1625, note.
