Edizione originale, contenente la seconda edizione di "Della cause della grandezza e magnificenza della città". Botero scrisse questo trattato sul governo in contrapposizione a Machiavelli. L'opera fu subito ristampata a Roma, Torino e Milano e tradotta in molte lingue.
