Parigi, Matteo il Maestro, 1609. In 8°. Ritratto xilografico dell'Aretino al frontespizio, con le carte bianche le a7-8 e 2M4, bruniture, legatura del secolo XVIII in pergamena rigida, tassello al dorso, tagli marmorizzati.
Si tratta della sola prima parte delle sei costituenti l'opera. I volumi uscirono individualmente e furono stampati per la prima volta soprattutto a Venezia tra il 1538 e il 1557 . Gamba 1207
