Rome, Printer of the Centenary Brothers, 2 January 1878 - 29 December 1978. In 2 °. Year VII, n.1- 152. Woodcut heads with the figure of the Sienese mask "Don Pirloncino", and large double-page illustrations depicting satirical cartoons or portraits, many in color, some tears, blooms, coeval half parchment binding with corners , smooth back, with gusset, some lack on the back.
The VII complete year of the famous weekly periodical of anticlerical satire, operating under the motto of "Castigat laughing mores", founded by Costanzo Chauvet and published from 30 July 1871 to 2 January 1887, heir to the satirical newspaper "Don Pirlone". Among the illustrators, Michele Armayer, Camuar (pseudonym of Francesco Orazio Maruca) and Giuseppe Marchetti.
