Paris, Albert Hautecoeur Editeur, [sec. XIX]. In 8 ° oblong. Album containing 50 albumin photos in black and white each mounted on cardboard (960 x 1460 mm) depicting views of Paris and Versailles, each with caption and friezes in the lower margin, some light flowering, few mirrored, binding in chagrin red with title, publisher and decorations embossed in gold on the front plate, binding partially detached from the body of the album. Publisher's paper insert on the counterplate.
Specialist Notes
Nice album from Paris at the end of the 19th century: from rue de Rivoli to avenue de l'Opéra, from the garden of the Palais-Royal to the Palais du Trocadéro, demolished in 1937 on the occasion of the International Exhibition.
