Intaglio front door drawn depicting the slide rule by Luca Carlevariis and engraved by Giuseppe Baroni, frontispiece printed in red and black with central vignette, beautiful engraved headboard, 9 sheets of folded plates at the end of the volume plus a final addition to the series, depicting a sailing ship with three trees and measuring 440 x 560 mm., rare glosses, very slight marginal blooms, light stain on the front door, binding of a later period in half marbled calfskin, author and title stamped in gold within a 5-rib spine, spray cuts reds. & nbsp; On the counterplate paper ex libris.
