Amsterdam, Henry Wetstein, 1682. In 4th. Two parts in volume. Two allegorical anti-doors and a frontispiece, and 77 full-page architectural tables, all finely engraved in copper, slight browning on several sheets, small woodworm holes, coeval binding in brown calfskin, back with five nerves with titles and friezes imprinted in gold , worn and with small woodworm holes. To the counterplate ex libris noble engraved in copper.

Elegant edition, reprint of the 1679 edition, in turn made on the Parisian edition of Pierre Mariette of 1647. Pierre Le Muet (1591-1669) was the first to distribute Palladio's treatise in France. Military engineer and architect of the king, he created in particular the basilica of Notre-Dame-des-Victoires and & nbsp; l'hôtel Tubeuf. & nbsp; Fowler, n ° 221.
