Specialist Notes

Very rare first edition, signed by the author on the first page of each volume, dedicated to His Highness the Elector the Duke of Bavaria; 6 cantatas are collected in each book. French organist and composer, Clerambault was one of the most important exponents of the French organ school of the third period, the one in which a fusion was attempted between the Italian and French styles in the cantata genre. & Nbsp;
