Typographic mark on the title page printed in red and black, text in Latin and Arabic characters, reinforcements at A1 and C2, light blooms and redness, some slight halo, some papers with light browning, small stain on the last cards, contemporary parchment binding with author and title stamped in gold within a gusset on the smooth spine, some halo, slight defects at the edges and cap. & nbsp;

Specialist Notes

First edition of one of the most important Arabic language dictionaries of the 17th century written by the Dutch mathematician and orientalist Jakob Golius (1596-1667). It will remain a point of reference for linguists and scholars of Arabic until the century. XIX. & Nbsp;
