Paris, Nyon, Guillyn, 1759. In 12th. Woodcut frieze on the title page, woodcut headboards, few burnished papers, sporadic blooms, small tear at c. O, coeval leather binding, gold friezes on the spine and gusset with gold title, marbled cuts, on the reverse of the front guard card, noble coat of arms, same ex libris on the front counterplate.
Second revised and corrected edition. The author was a French chemist and distiller; his complete Traité des odeurs was first published in 1764.
