Venice, Francesco Ginammi, 1662. In 12th. Woodcut frieze on the title page, woodcut headers, figured initial at c. A1r, signs of humidity, editorial data on the title page and some letters of the f. a2 brushed over with ink, the last two white papers are missing, small defects and lacks on the spine, coeval cardboard binding.
Curious and interesting operetta by the academician Giovanni Battista Ardemani, published for the first time in Venice in 1602; during the seventeenth century it was quite successful and was reproduced in various editions. Piantanida 2147: "They describe the medical, aphrodisiac, fascinating, etc. properties of all sorts of gems".
